Former Chapter President, Doris Helfer has been awarded the "Distinguished Teaching, Counseling, or Librarianship Award" by her peers at the California State University, Northridge. Doris was presented with her award at CSUN's Honored Faculty Reception on May 18, 2009. This is the first time that a member of CSUN's Library has received this award.
